Are you struggling to complete your Pokedex in Paldea and find certain Pokemon? Fear not, because today I’ll be showing you how to obtain Basculegion in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
However, don’t get too excited, as this is not an easy task and will require a lot of effort before you can add this Water/Ghost Type Pokemon to your collection.
Although the process can be lengthy, it’s definitely worth it if you’re determined to catch ’em all! Just be sure to have your copy of Pokemon Legends: Arceus ready, as it’s a crucial component in obtaining Basculegion.
How To Get Basculegion In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
In order to obtain Basculegion in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the first step is to evolve your Basculin in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
However, Pokemon Home is not yet compatible with Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, so you’ll need to wait for a future update, which is expected to be released this Spring.
To evolve your Basculin, you’ll need to catch one in either Alabaster Icelands, Coronet Highlands, or Cobalt Coastlands in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Once you have a Basculin, the next step is to level it up until it learns a move that deals recoil damage. Take Down is the most suitable choice, and it can be learned by Basculin at Level 35.
Basculin not only needs to learn this move but also use it effectively in battle by enduring 294 points of recoil damage without fainting.
It would be wise to stock up on Potions and use them as needed. When Basculin reaches the threshold of 294 recoil damage, its evolution will commence with accompanying dramatic music and sparkly animations.
Although this may not be the concise Pokedex entry you were anticipating, news of upcoming DLC in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet leaks suggests that updates will be available soon.
