Pokemon is currently providing us with a great deal of excitement. After the recent Blissey Tera Raid Event, another one is on the way where we can catch Samurott.
Samurott cannot be obtained through any other means, so it is important to learn how to get it in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Samurott is a Water Type and an evolution of Dewott found in the Unova region.
During the upcoming Tera Raid, which takes place from March 31st to April 2nd, Samurott will possess a unique Tera Type.
If you want to learn about this type and which Tera crystals to be on the lookout for, continue reading!
How To Get Samurott In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Participating in a 7-Star Tera Raid from March 31st to April 2nd is necessary to catch Samurott. This event will be indicated by a black Tera Crystal on your Paldea map.
If you have read my guide on how to get Decidueye in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you will be familiar with the appearance of these crystals. However, if you are unsure, let me clarify:
Completing all post-game stories is necessary to unlock 7-Star Raids, which means finishing the Academy Ace Tournament and defeating the Gym Leaders for the second time.
Additionally, participation in both 5 and 6-Star Tera Raids is required to unlock 7-Star Raids. If you have not completed those tasks, you will have to work hard before this event begins.
However, the effort will be worthwhile as you will get a high-level Pokemon that is not currently available in Paldea.
Moreover, this Pokemon comes with the Mightiest Mark and is a Bug Tera Type. If you miss out or need more time to level up, don’t worry because this Tera Raid Event will repeat from April 7th to April 9th.
It is important to note that you can only catch one Samurott per save file during this event, as with all 7-Star Tera Raids. This fact bears repeating, regardless of the set of dates you choose to attempt to catch Samurott.
